There is nothing wrong in that. After worship temporarily established Idols are destroyed and it has no significance. Take the case of Lakshmi Vedi(Diwali Cracker). We are busting crackers with Godess Sri Lakshmi printed on it. It is destroyed while bursting. It has no Significance. Our mind set should accept this. Bakthi is in heart.
